Fraid Knot

Fraid Knot is a high-energy Celtic rock band from Western Canada, known for blending traditional Scottish and Irish influences with modern rock intensity. Often described as “Western Canada’s hardest working ambassadors of contemporary Celtic music,” the band delivers a powerful, polished sound that bridges the gap between Celtic tradition and crowd-driven rock performance. Calmer than Dropkick Murphys, edgier than Great Big Sea, and energetic enough to keep any room moving, Fraid Knot’s sound appeals equally to purists and new listeners alike.
